Biology Student Nominated for Baylor Outstanding Dissertation Award

Jeanne Samake was nominated for the 2023-24 Outstanding Dissertation Award.  This means she was recognized for her outstanding dissertation from the Department of Biology.  

Awardees were selected in three areas:  Humanities, Social Sciences, and STEM. Graduate Program Directors scored nominees according to the following criteria: significance, originality, soundness of methodology/argumentation, and research/data.  The top scorer was selected for the 2023-24 Outstanding Dissertation in their area.
