Dr. Marcie Moehnke Selected as 2022-2023 Baylor Fellow
Congratulations are in order for our very own Dr. Marcie Moehnke on her selection as a Baylor Fellow for the 2022-23 academic year! Baylor Fellows are selected from across the University based upon their demonstrated excellence and creativity in teaching and learning. Baylor Fellows are also expected to be leaders and exemplars on our campus as we—as a community of teachers and scholars—continue to improve, innovate, and articulate the true promise of a Baylor education. The theme for this year’s Baylor Fellows program is Teaching for First Gen Success. Of course, we know that those who are the first generation in their family to attend college have an unique set of needs that, when met, increase the likelihood of their success exponentially.
This honor is very well deserved. Dr. Moehnke joins a distinguished list of past Baylor Fellows from our department. Let us congratulate Dr. Moehnke on this high honor and the challenge to be even more innovative in her teaching at Baylor.
